Roger Snoble was hired as the new MTA Chief Executive Officer on June 20, 2001. He is one of the top public transit officials in the nation. Zev Yaroslavsky is the Los Angeles County Supervisor for the Third District, elected on June 1994. Prior to that, he served on the Los Angeles City Council from 1975 to 1994.
