The back lot of Hollywood High School is visible in the foreground, with several benches situated along the perimeter of the dirt. A two-story house is pictured behind it, from the back of which two sets of steps descend from separate doors. A rood cut across the frame horizontally separating the house from the rest of the town, which is comprised mainly of two-story Victorian-style buildings at the foot of the mountains that can be seen in the distance.
