Photograph article dated November 2, 1959 partially reads, "Roy P. Sorensen, assistant vice president of North Hollywood Federal Savings and Loan Association, today was announced as chairman of the North Hollywood March of Dimes for 1960. The announcement was made by Eugene W. Biscailuz, Los Angeles County general chairman. Sorensen will head an organization of volunteer workers who will seek funds between Jan. 2 and 31 for the National Foundation's broadscale attack on polio, birth defects and arthritis. These three cripplers, it was noted, affect one in every four U. S. families."
