Description
Sponsored by the California Dental Association, "Fresh and Clean" was one of 26 "Elks on Parade" during the late summer months of 2002. At the end of a three-month display period throughout Sacramento and Elk Grove and in spite of vandalism, the scuptures were pulled for auction, with proceeds going to charity. Sponsors were given the option to keep their elk for a price of $3,800. By auction time, "Fresh and Clean" had lost its right antler. The elks were the work of sculptor Leroy K. Siebert
