Description
A structure known as "The Library," in the Druid Heights community, located just above Muir Woods. Constructed in 1972, and inspired by the form of a water tank, the Library was initially used to house the books and papers of former Druid Heights resident Alan Watts, a writer, philosopher and speaker. The structure is 16-feet in diameter round structure with wooden slats held together by galvanized rod straps.
