Photograph caption reads: "State Senator Jack B. Tenney, left, and Duncan McLaurin, executive vice president of the San Fernando Valley's 57th Republican Assembly, confer at Eaton's Restaurant, where Tenney, who is campaigning for re-election, met some of his backers". Eaton's Restaurant is at the corner of Wilshire and Ardmore in Los Angeles. Senator Tenney was known as California's McCarthy. He was also a songwriter who's biggest hit was Mexicali Rose. Photograph dated: June 4, 1954.
