Description
Bones exposed in situ in bank of one of the ponds of La Brea Tar Pits. The large bone at the top is scapula of sloth. Diagonally down to right is clavicle of sloth. Large bone at right is scapula of camel ; immediately below is end of tibia of camel. At bottom, flat bone is scapula of saber-toothed tiger. To the right is a vertebrum of sloth. (Between the last two is a small trowel.) Long straight bone at the left is rib of camel and continuing to right is rib of camel. To the right of the last is pelvis of saber-toothed tiger.
