Photograph caption dated February 3, 1980 reads, "An anti-draft rally at Claremont College, organized by an anti-nuclear group, Alliance for Survival and Students for Economic Democracy - an offshoot of the Campaign for Economic Democracy - drew about 300 students yesterday. The students protested the plan to revive Selective Service registration. "It's not a matter of patriotism," said protester Diane Arakaki. "The question we pondered was, 'Is anything worth killing another human being?'"
