In: [Scenes of Sacramento] [manuscript] / Eugene Walter Hepting. [Sacramento, Calif. : E. Hepting, 1938?], Vol. D, leaf 34. Shows the Chinese junk, Amoy and M Street Bridge in background. 1989-1457. Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento. The Amoy visited Sacramento in March 1923 enroute from Shanghi to Victoria British Columbia. Cruise took 87 days -- from caption.
