Photograph of a southward view of Broadway from between Alpine Street and High Street, August 8, 1931. Broadway runs from the foreground at left to the background at right. Many automobiles can be seen parked along the sides of the road, and streetcar tracks can be seen in the middle of the paved street. Utility poles and small buildings lines the road at left. In the background at right, the tall tower of City Hall can be seen through haze.
