Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on May 11, 1969 states: "The record Sierra snowpack has failed to hamper construction of this 10-story addition to the Cal-Neva Lodge on Lake Tahoe's North Shore. Located on the California-Nevada boarder at Crystal Bay, the high rise hotel is well ahead of schedule and will add 200 rooms to the lodge in late June, along with two show lounges, a casino pavilion, a theater-restaurant, a lakeview dining room and convention facilities."
