Description
Photograph caption reads: "Few combinations could be more charming than a smiling girl and a bank of flowers. That's blue-eyed Shirley Savage of San Fernando, surrounded by buckets of multi-colored 'mums'. Foothill areas long used for vegetable crops are turning to flower-growing because of excellent drainage". Photograph dated: Dec. 1, 1953.
