Description
In this letter, Mochizuki writes to Mr. James Bell, who is a former colleague of Mr. Raymond Ickes. The two of them jointly investigated the "evacuation of 'non-dangerous'" Latin-American Japanese, namely those from Peru. Mochizuki hopes to obtain information regarding this investigation for his research, which he is conducting on the Japanese Latin American experience during World War II. Collection of notes, articles, correspondence, photographs, and term papers collected by Yukio Mochizuki, a student at CSU Dominguez Hills, while researching Japanese American incarceration and Japanese Peruvian internment during World War II.
