Photograph of excavation work on Wetona Drive, Los Angeles, 1933. Along the center of the image, groups of workers surround the edge of a steep gravel slope that dips into the lower edge of the image. The workers are concentrated primarilly to the right of the image, where they tend to a small mound of dirt. The hills behind them are covered in grasses.
