Description
Located at 2712 Fulton Avenue, the Coral Reef Lodge was across the street and slightly west of namesake Coral Reef Restaurant, a fixture and family favorite for over 40 years. Brothers John, Elwood and later band-leader Edwin "Buddy" Malrville maintained and managed those businesses as well as a "plunge" (public swimming pool) on Auburn Boulevard later owned and operated by music star Bob Wills, known around the world as the "King of Western Swing."
