It is a small, narrow vehicle with broad caterpillar tracks and a small machine gun in a turret. Two French soldiers stand near the tank at left. A display of helmets is on the ground in the foreground at left and consists of nearly two hundred helmets stacked in neat rows. A wooden fence at right separates the displays from a large crowd of civilians.
