Description
Photograph of orange groves in Southern California, ca.1910. The thick, orange-spotted trees stand in wavering rows in the large field at center with small rows of short plants between the them. Bare, skeletal trees stand in the foreground while a large, lightly-colored building stands on the right edge of the orange groves. Next to the structure stands what appears to be a large, lightly-colored cylinder with a factory below it. Electrical poles line the right edge of the groves as well as the street on the far edge. The orange groves continue into the distance on the other side of that far street.
