Photograph caption dated August 30, 1947 reads, "Among the Valley artists is famous Zoe Mozert, putting finishing touches to her latest calendar girl creation with her figure model, Joan Caton. Miss Mozert will do a portrait of Orson Welles for Republic studio. She is the creator of the controversial Jane Russell billboard portrait that was used in thousands of ads for 'The Outlaw.' In the picture above the artist shows model the pose she wants."
