Description
Governor Reagan regularly filmed these prepared statements on the status of events, from his perspective, in Sacramento and sent those films to television stations throughout the state for broadcast. This proved controversial as Democrats in the State Legislature often argued for equal time as they argued these were often partisan broadcasts and merited "equal time" under FCC rules and regulations.
