Description
Demolishing the old Christy Film Studio on Sunset Blvd. at Gower Street on February 2, 1937. The studio where many stars began their careers is being razed to make way for a new broadcasting building. A mission bell stands on the sidewalk next to a lightpost bearing a U.S. 101 highway sign. A sign on the building says "Amalgamated Motion Picture Studios."
