Description
Photograph identification: The Lucky Logger was an early prototype of a self loading log truck. It was an army surplus GMC fitted with a frame and boom powered by the front end winch. It was ugly and slow, but it worked. Ray Black ran the Lucky Logger. Woods near Strawberry Valley, Yuba County. Photographer is Marge Holmes.
