2 images. Overturned auto... 3300 Block North Gaffey Street, San Pedro, 18 November 1951. Private Theodore De Long, driver.
Supplementary material reads: "Chernus -- Harbor. Caption wreck. Two negs show car of Private Theodore Dewey DeLong, 19, of Camp Roberts, which skidded 175 feet, leaped a prone telephone pole, hurdled a six-foot embankment and flopped upside down against a power pole on 3300 block North Gaffey street, San Pedro, early today. Pinned in his car, Private DeLong managed to extricate himself by crawling out of truck compartment. Injuries a possible sprained right ankle. He said he lost control of car when he suddenly served to avoid a zigzagging automobile racing at him from the rear. If one officer in pix it is B.W. Embree. If two officers in pix they are Embree and Raymond Callaghan".
