Description
There was one empty desk in this classroom at the Lindbergh School in Buena Park on May 21, 1951. It was the desk (circle) of little Patricia Jean Hull, who is feared to be victim of a brutal kidnap-murder. The school was named for Col. Charles A. Lindbergh, whose own son was kidnapped and murdered. In the background, Officer Jack McAlary talks with Mrs. Cretia Thayer, class instructor. Despite excitement caused by the tragedy, the classroom went on with its normal duties.
