Title supplied by cataloger. Photograph caption reads: "Sticky going on the Golden State Freeway: It was the kind of accident that tends to slow down rush-hour traffic. An oil tanker skidded and overturned on the southbound Golden State Freeway near Fletcher Drive at 6:24 p.m. Friday. And as a result of the oil that was spilled, the southbound lanes in the Atwater area were closed for most of the night. There was however, a bright side to the gooey mess. No injuries were reported among the five vehicles involved in the accident. Nor was there a fire." Photograph dated: June 28, 1982.
