Kenneth Hopper writes Mr. B. Inoue, of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., saying that Hopper had a visit from his brother who is chief spokesman on economic matters for the British government in the European Parliament. Hopper reports that it looks as if his next publication will be on training for production management for the Asian Productivity Organization and for a magazine in Britain. He says he liked Inoue's story on Mr. Kobayashi of NEC phoning him to tell him about the engineer from Western Electric. Hopper goes on to say that he would like to hear other stories of that kind, going back to the early post-war years, or late 1950s and early 1960s, when Japanese managers were creating the "new" Japanese management. The scan of the backside of the letter was rotated 180 degrees.
