Description
This circa 1960 postcard invokes a traditional Capital City marketing pitch, going back to the 1920s: "Sacramento, the Heart of California." In addition to a large camellia, shown are the Governor's Mansion, the Library and Courts Building, K Street, the California State Capitol building, the Tower Bridge, McKinley Park, the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, and Town and Country and Country Club shopping centers.
