Photograph of an exterior view of the Elsinor Hotel, showing an automobile in the foreground, ca.1935. A two-story, Gothic Revival-style building is shown at center, its second story significantly obscured by two trees which stand to either side of the entrance. Below the rightmost tree, several cars are parked, while a third is visible in the extreme left foreground. Signs are distributed along the porch of the first floor, and read from left to right "Original Hot Springs. First [...] Sweats Massages Battle Creek Methods Colonic Irrigation", "Baths" and "Scientific Massage". The hotel was known as the "original hot springs hotel".
