Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Hartshorn and Thomas blacksmith shop in Bishop, ca.1930. A tall, wood, barnlike building stands at center, a sign over its large double doors proclaiming its name. A wagon wheel stands to each side of the entrance, while tools can be seen hung on a wall to the far right. To the left, the back of what appears to be an early flatbed jeep can be seen with a license plate that reads "6V 433". The sign for the shop advertises spring work. Picture file card reads "Both partners have passed away but the business is owned by son W. Thomas".
