Image of the race horse Gold Dust in a pasture near a wood fence.
Single-color print. "From Life, and on Stone by R. Vandusen, Weedsport, N.Y. Hitchcock & Co., Litho., Syracuse, N.Y."--text, bottom center margin. "The Sire of the winners of 3, 4 and 5 year old Stakes in the great Colt Stakes at Dexter Park, Chicago, distancing all the best breeds, 68 entries, the 2nd and 5th days of September, 1871. They also distanced all other 3 and 4 year olds at Eminence, KY., and at Louisville, KY., My 3 year old "Fleety Gold Dust" beat all others from 6 to 20 seconds. His Colts have defied all breeds and won all matches they could get on even terms for 8 years.
