Description
Photograph of a view of Santa Cruz Avenue, the main thoroughfare in Los Gatos, California, ca.1900. The Hotel Lyndon, "which was still standing in 1940", can be seen on the left behind the sidewalk and a row of palm trees. The hotel stands two stories tall with a chimney protruding from the shingled roof and a flagpole standing behind. A person walks on the sidewalk in front of the hotel while the avenue lined on both sides with buildings and electrical poles extends into the distance on the right.
