Description
Handwritten on cardboard mounting: "Lawndale Bunch- Redondo Blvd. 1913." The photo depicts the 'bunch' posing for the photograph by the side of the road, some sitting on a culvert and one leaning against a tree. A newspaper clipping accompanying the photographs in the collection may identify the people in the 'Lawndale bunch': "A great number of Lawndale people spent the Fourth at Redondo. Among those who were there were: Mr. and Mrs. Wheeling and children, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Mathews, Chas. Ditchen and family, Mrs. Erskeen, Mrs. Case and granddaughter, Miss Ethel, Misses Helen Buss, Nellie Dickey, Lillie Francisco, Raymond Townsend, Glenn Dickey, Mrs. Mary Speakman, F. E. Speakman and family, J. Bessom and wife.
