Aerial view of the Ford Motor Company, Mercury Plant site located at 8900 E. Washington Boulevard in Pico Rivera; view is looking northeast. The plant is located on the corner of Rosemead Boulevard (middle right, running upward) and Washington Boulevard (horizontally at middle). Rex Road is visible horizontally at the bottom. The 157-acre manufacturing facility was dedicated on May 6, 1948; the plant closed in 1980 and was purchased by Northrop Grumman in 1982. Photograph dated May 15, 1957.
