Title supplied by cataloger. Dos Vientos Ranch was a 5,000-acre property located in the Newberry Park area of Thousand Oaks, that evangelist O.L. Jaggers purchased in 1957, possibly from Snap-Tite, Inc., for the purpose of building a World Church city. After years of lawsuits brought against Jagger and his World Church by investors of the project, the land was eventually transferred over to Jackson Appliance Co. In 1965, Louis Lesser Enterprises of Beverly Hills bought the property for $8.6 million, and began a master plan for a residential community, housing 8,000 units and an eventual 26,000 residents. Today, Dos Vientos Ranch is a much sought-after 2,300-acre community nestled amid the rolling hills of Thousand Oaks. Aerial view of Dos Vientos Ranch in Newberry Park, Thousand Oaks. The property of Dos Vientos Ranch was set to become O.L. Jaggers' "World Church city", but because the area is so large, the exact location of the property is unclear.
