Description
Photograph of the flooded San Gabriel River looking northwest in Azusa, 1938. The murky water of the river that flows from the left foreground to the right distance seeps in thin streams over the trees and brush of the land on the right. The water flows over the bridge at center and just under the bridge in the background. The land on the left which reaches to the mountains in the background appears to be unharmed. Photoprint reads: "This photograph is loaned to you. Please return to: Illustrator. L.A. City Planning Dept. Rm.361 F City Hall, Los Angeles, California".
