The verso contains an advertisement for the Pacific Photograph Gallery with two studio portraits of children captioned "A Santa Monica Living Picture" and "This is the way children smile when they have their Photos taken by Rile," as well as a photograph of beachgoers in swimsuits in the ocean, captioned "A Bathing Scene in February," with an inset portrait presumably of H.F. Rile. Pacific Photograph Gallery. At the Arcadia Pavilion, is the place for all kinds of fine Photographs. Tintypes in bathing costume a specialty.
