Booths line the edge of Lincoln Park in Long Beach for the tri-weekly Long Beach Municipal Market. People throng on one side of the booths as cars line the other side. Most booths are covered with tarps although some have umbrellas for shade. Produce crates are stacked high by some booths. Businessmen and city leaders tried over several years to move the market from the park citing unfair competition.
