Photograph shows the Centella Methodist Church with church goers in front of the building. Centella Methodist Church, evolved from a Mission Sunday School sponsored by First Methodist Church. Centella Methodist Church no longer exists as it was combined with St. Paul Methodist Church over fifty years ago. The church's name became St. Paul's Methodist Church after the two churches combined. The church began as a small chapel named in honor of Centella Grace McColl who died at the age of eight years old. Her family was a benefactor of that chapel, contributing the original funding for the building of the chapel in her memory. http://www.stpaulsumcsj.com/Who.html Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 8-bit Grayscale.
