Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated January 9, 1950 partially reads, "During these activity-packed days when few hostesses can devote assiduous attention to each detail involved in entertainment of guests, it is well to ponder time and labor-saving ideas which might be applied advantageously in our homes. When Mrs. Win L. Flory redesigned and remodeled the living room in her hillside home in Burbank to provide accommodation for entertainment of large groups, she paid particular attention to the styling of the built-in buffet which replaces an old-style outmoded one. A mirrored wall above the buffet adds spaciousness to the room. Serving from the long, streamlined and modern buffet facilitates the problem of food handling since it is just a few steps from the kitchen." Photograph caption reads, "Seated in chartreuse colored leather chair is Mrs. Win L. Flory who redesigned her living room and supervised decoration. Wedgewood plates tell story of Ivanhoe."; See images #00134258 through #00134260 for all photos in this series.
