"Low water on American and Sacramento Rivers . . . this is what it looks like at the confluence of the American and Sacramento Rivers . . . according to marina owners at the confluence the water is down about 30 feet below normal for this time of year but is only below the normal summer flow about 2 feet . . . they say that they have seen it lower than this in past winters but not on a regular basis."
