Description
Caption to this Sacramento Bee photo states: "The Yolo Bypass is covered by water which flowed into the flood control channel through the Fremont Weir out of the Sacramento River. This picturer was taken today from the Sacramento or east end of the bypass looking west. At the right cars speed along the Yolo Causeway. On the left is the new causeway under construction. Work atop the new span will continue despite the water. In the foreground is a construction road which disappears into the water. The River Road between Woodland and Sacramento which crosses the by pass is closed by the flow."
