Description: Photograph caption dated July 27, 1980 reads, "Five LAPD officers who earlier this month helped rescue 150 residents of a Wilshire District apartment from a fire were honored yesterday with city commendations. Council President John Ferraro, center, and Councilman Zev Yaroslavsky, third from right, are with officers at City Hall. Honored were, left to right, William Wilhelm, Matthew Jaroscak, David Nichols, Bret Papworth and Robert McCary."
