Title transcribed front of photo-mount. Date devised by cataloger; Watkins made two trips to Southern California, in 1877 and 1880. Printed on photo-mount below title: "From Watkins' Yosemite Art Gallery, Portrait and Landscape, 26 Montgomery Street, opp. Lick House Entrance. S.F." Image corresponds with Watkins New Series stereo #4426, titled, "Residence of J. De Barth Shorb, Esq. San Gabriel." and cropped version of image photCL 74 (595) in the Huntington Library.
