Description
Otto Emil Birkeli was a missionary in Madagascar from 1903-1919. He attended The School of Mission and Theology 1897-1902. From 1923-1944 he was a teacher at The School of Mission and Theology in Stavanger, Norway. From 1937 he was the principal of this school. In Morondava, Madagascar on June 30, 1905 he married Olene, maiden name Soeiland. She was born in Stavanger, Norway on May 26, 1870 and died in 1962.
