Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on September 22, 1967 states: "Disputed Architecture -- This corrugated steel building under construction in Jackson does not fit with the city's Western atmosphere. The City Council has ordered a committee to provide guidelines for future Main Street construction to eliminate the chance of more un-Western architecture."
