Description: One of the highlights of Uplifters' fun and frolic is the horeshoe pitching tournament. Shown at the event on September 16, 1939, are, left to right: Herman Paine, Walt Graning, Arthur Holliday, Lee Ford and Cecil Frankel. Many athletic events feature the celebration of the civic and business leaders of the city, where fun and frolic are the rulers.
