Description
Photograph shows movie theater owned by Henry William Nash, father of Verna Nash, Stirling City, Calif. Nash ran the projector while Vera played the piano. Couldn't compete when the' talkies' came to Chico. Building given to the town for a community hall by Nash in 1931. Hall was in use as of 1978 where senior citizens operated a free lunch program.
