Description
Tiny microphone with 40-ft. range, presumed used by Leo Jones for hidden surveillance technology. Leo Hugh Jones (1926 --2002) was an early pioneer in the development of electronic surveillance and countermeasures devices. In 1950, he founded the Fargo Company to design and manufacture these high-tech specialty devices. Based in San Francisco, Fargo sold its products exclusively to law enforcement organizations around the world. In 1965, Jones founded Saber Laboratories to provide countermeasures equipment, a fledgling industry partially induced by the Cold War with Soviet Russia.
