Photograph article dated May 9, 1962 partially reads, "'The way to a man's heart is through his stomach' as the old saying goes. Teenage members of a junior cook's class at North Hollywood Recreation Center will find out if this philosophy really works as they study menu-planning for outdoor parties. Mrs. Joseph (Tina) Doolittle of North Hollywood, a newly-wed of less than a year and instructor of the class, believes that it does. 'I think that boys will be much more impressed if a girl giving a party prepares her own refreshments--and so will mother,' she said." Pictured are Kerry Ford, left, Robyn Stewart, and Bonnie Renner getting recipes from instructor Tina Doolittle.; See images #00131820 through #00131821 for all photos in this series.
