Description
A horse-and-carriage entry in the Hollywood Old Settlers Parade has a dressed-up horse bearing a sign: "C.E. Toberman trying to sell Hollywood Boulevard at $30.00 per Front Ft. in 1907 to Iowa Tourists." Four people are riding in the carriage. Charles E. Toberman was a major real estate developer and builder of theaters and buildings in early Hollywood.
