"Santa Rosa Isl where Kelly made a hit, 34" - handwritten on photo -- view 2 (2018-0334). No one watching. "Cliff dwellers, 11" - handwritten on photo. Man, woman sleeping -- view 3 (2018-0358). Santa Rosa Island, all but the dark man. "Santa Rosa Isl, 31" Shows farm building (?), fence, tree -- view 4 (2018-0360). My Wife. "Admiring the scenery" - handwritten on photo. Oaks (?) in background -- view 5. (2018-0359). The bunch. "Lunch at Santa Rosa Isl., 33" Also have negatives: no. 27,043 (4x5 in.) for 2018-0358; and, no. 27,044 (4x5 in.) for 2018-0359. In September 1904, party of friends and relatives went for a cruise of the Santa Barbara Islands on the two-masted power steamer, Avalon. Camped on Santa Cruz Island at Quava Valdez, made excursions to Santa Rosa and Anacapa Islands.
